My first official review is in for The Amethyst Cat Caper from Joyfully Jay and I'm so very pleased by it! This is my first published story that is longer in length (novella), and the feedback I've been receiving has been wonderful. Not only because people seem to be enjoying it, but because I've also learned about areas I can improve upon moving forward, which is so very important to me.
I like to know what works and what doesn't, what can be made better. After all, that's all part of the growing process, and it's very exciting. This one's a little bit strange in the sense that I wrote The Amethyst Cat Caper months before I wrote When Love Walked In, even though it was published second. I learned quite a bit from The Amethyst Cat Caper which I put to use in When Love Walked In, hence the slow build up to Bruce and Jace's relationship as opposed to the faster paced relationship Remi and Hawk have. Of course that just means in Hawk and Remi's next adventure, I'm going to have to make them suffer a little. Sorry boys, but if you thought you were going to walk away that easy... I'm cruel, I know.
