♥ Weekly News Roundup

Welcome to this week's Weekly News Roundup covering Sunday, April 8th to Saturday, April 14th!

GRL - I'm so excited to be going to this year's GRL, and as an author no less! I can't wait to meet all the wonderful folks I've chatted to online. It's going to be tough, separating my author side from the fan-girl side once I see so many of my favorite authors in one place. Especially after Jessewave so kindly pointed me to a link on her site containing some of last year's GRL pics and I saw Damon Suede in a kilt. Personally, I think that's newsworthy. Moving on...

LiAW - I finally finished my story! Yay! So, you know how I planned on cutting it off at around 10k? Well, it ended up 18k. Yeah, those boys just took on a life of their own and pulled the rug out from under me. Harlan and Nathan ended up a lot more troubled and complex. Even some secondary characters like Danny, just stepped up to bat and decided they wanted in on the action. You might see more from these fellas in the future.

♥ My submission to the Torquere Press Masks Off! anthology has been accepted! Woot! My very first anthology story. I hadn't been too sure about writing it because it contained elements that stretched beyond Historical, but then I remembered that I'd told myself when I'd first decided to write Historical, that I wouldn't limit myself within the genre. I wanted to be able to experiment if it struck my fancy, so I decided to give this a shot, and I had so much fun writing it! It is Historical of course, but uh... with a little twist. Tee Hee. ;)

♥ Edits for my summer release The Auspicious Troubles of Chance should be coming in any time now and I'm so excited! This story was submitted as part of Dreamspinner's Timeless Dreams, so it is a little different to my other stories as well. *Updated* You can now read a sneak peak on the Excerpts page or click here!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
